First you must install plugin STT/Search terms tagging in your wordpress blog, after you activate the plugin you must change the dfault setting, in the Convert search terms into links change into Yes, link to search page the default is Yes, link to post content
Beside that you can modify file searh.php as waht you need, example you may use search result from search engine ( google yahoo bing ) appears in your blog by put some scripts or code in file search.php
