Wordpress is known because it is so SEO friendly, many bloggers use this platform because of that reason. Excelly default wordpress script is coded to be friendly to search engine, but in fact there ara many Plugin that can be added to optimize SEO for a wordpress blog. What are basic important Wordpress SEO Plugin, bellow are the list of that plugin by my litle experience.

   generate a list of related post by keyword or tags
3. Page Navigation
   it is important t make a internal link building in a blog, especially in old post
4. B-Stat or Search Terms Tagging
   catch keyword from search engine as a tag

may be that plugin is enough for a while to make your wordpress blog give beter results in search engine.
